Antonia Booth
Principal of the Janice Marshall Stage School. Tap, Drama & Modern
Antonia started dancing at the age of 3 at the Janice Marshall Stage School where she completed her graded examinations at RAD Ballet and excelled at ISTD Modern Theatre and Tap.
Antonia passed her professional levels in Modern & Tap and now teaches ISTD Tap for all graded and professional levels. She also has a special talent working with pre-school ballet, tap and theatre classes.
Antonia's love and enthusiasm working with children reflects on the excellent results her pupils achieve at all levels.
Tracy Nelson
Singing & Drama
Tracy Nelson joined the Janice Marshall Stage School in 2008. She is now co-director of the Musical Theatre Department.
Tracy qualified from Strathclyde University with a B.A. Honours in Applied Music
She teaches Musical Theatre in various schools throughout South Ayrshire and has also worked with StageCoach Theatre Arts in Glasgow.
We are very privileged to have her on board at the Stage School. The students love her energetic manner and humourous method of teaching.
Melanie Russell
Modern Jazz & Tap
Melanie has always had a love and passion for dance and has been dancing since the age of 3. She started at her local dance school and at the age of 18 continued her studies at Bird College where she graduated with a National Diploma in Dance and Musical Theatre.
After graduating, Melanie immediately went into teaching- teaching R.A.D, I.S.T.D Ballet, ISTD Tap and Jazz at various schools.
She is fully qualified within the ISTD with over 10 years of experience. Melanie hopes to pass on this passion and enjoyment to all of her students.
Louise Graham
Lyrical Dance, Street Dance & Stretching
Louise started dancing at the age of 11 at the Janice Marshall Stage School and gained her Advanced 1 RAD Ballet with Distinction and also her ISTD Intermidiate Foundation Modern and Silver Award in Modern with an A.
Louise then went on to study at Ballet West for 4 years and graduated with a B.A (Hons) in Dance. During her four years at Ballet West, Louise toured Scotland performing in various productions including Romeo & Juliet, Swan Lake and The Nutcracker. She was also chosen to go on tour in China with Romeo & Juliet in her first year.
Louise was Dance Captain when she performed at Disneyland (Paris), Royal Albert Hall (London) and throughout her time at Ballet West.
Lousie loves teaching and hopes to pass on her knowledge and love for dance to the next generation of dancers.
Yolanda Kelly
Showtime Youth Theatre, Lyrical & Drama
From the age of 2 1/2, Yolanda attended the Janice Marshall Stage School and gained Advanced Foundation Level in RAD Ballet and Intermidiate Level in ISTD Modern.
She then studied at Dance For All Theatre School in Edinburgh graduating with a HND in Professional Stage Dance Performance. During this time she also gained her ISTD Teaching Qulification.
